Our baby Bel is already 100 days old!
We had 2 different celebrations with her since my parents came down to LA two weeks ago.
Son Family celebration:
Yoo Family celebration:
Baby Bel still has that disgruntled look most of the time, but she's becoming more chatty and starting to smile a lot more. I really want to freeze her right now because she is changing daily. Baby - don't grow so fast!!

Sunday outfit v. 3.0
After one blowout, Bel had to go to the backup outfit.
After the second one, she had to borrow a shirt from a church oppa. (Thanks, MS!)

I am not Chinese 2.0
One of the comments we've been getting quite often about Bel is that she looks mixed.
I sent my mom the following picture this morning and her reply (by text):
Look like not origin korean.

It's been about a month since Annabel's debut into the world and my life feels like a nonstop cycle of feeding, diapering, and sleeping (or rather, not sleeping). But each day does get a little better and I'm looking forward to that golden 2 month mark where I hear things turn a corner.
My labor started around 1:30am when I started feeling contractions. I began timing them but they were still erratic - somewhere between 5 to 8 minutes apart. I couldn't sleep and kept getting up to walk around. Danny woke up around 3am once he figured out what was going on.
Around 3:30am, my water broke. I heard it's not like the movies and comes out more like a trickle. Mine started off that way ...and then I gushed. Yeah, it's as gross as it sounds.
We got to the hospital around 4am (at this point around 2cm dilated). The nurse asked if I wanted the epidural, there would be a short window because the anesthesiologist had to fit me in between 2 c-sections. I asked for it at 7am and he didn't come til 8:30am. By that point I was 7cm (and barely able to breathe).
I must say, after the epidural, things were great. Danny says my contractions were off the charts, but I didn't feel a thing.
The doctor came in around 12:30pm, checked me and said I was ready to push. 4 contractions later Annabel came into the world at 12:58pm.
Since then life has been a whirlwind. The days are slow ... to the point I can't even keep track what day of the week it is. But at the same time, I can't believe she's already 1 month old.
Tune in for more pictures. Hopefully our updates will be more frequent.
